India Trade Promotion Organisation (A Government of India Enterprise) under the administrative control of the Department of Commerce, as part of its trade promotion activities has been regularly organising trade fairs/exhibitions abroad.The emphasis in the fairs has been to provide support and opportunities to Indian companies to display their exhibits and technology in promising export markets and project ‘Brand India’.  As we approach the 70^th anniversary of the establishment of our diplomatic ties next year (2017), India and Russia are celebrating and building on the achievement of our past.  

ITPO is organising an exclusive India Sourcing Fair at St. Petersburg (Russia) from March 14-16, 2017. The fair will showcase multi sectoral and technological achievements of the country

As per India-Russia Joint Statement of President of the Russian Federation and Prime Minister of India met on 15.10.2016 in Goa, during an official visit of the Russian President to India for the 17^th India-Russia Annual Summit  has emphasized on Yoga and Ayuveda as “welcoming the declaration of June 21 as International Day of Yoga and noting successful organization of Yoga events in the year 2016, the Sides agreed to cooperate for promoting health and fitness through traditional Indian forms of Yoga and Ayurveda. The Sides will explore possibility of mutual cooperation in formulation of curriculum for Ayurvedic studies and development of regulations for quality control of Ayurvedic practices and medicines in Russia”

Participation of Kunnath Pharmaceuticals in  India Sourcing Fair at St. Petersburg (Russia)

Kunnath Pharmaceuticals have successfully participated in the India Sourcing Fair at St. Petersburg (Russia) from March 14-16, 2017. Mr. K C Abraham, Managing Director, Kunnath Pharmaceuticals along with our representative Mr. Alen Jose have met the officials in Russia in plan of future trade promotions. With a view to build synergy and present a grand exposition of the strengths of our country, we have participated in the event ie, solicited in a befitting manner. 

It gave a great opportunity for Indian trade and industry to showcase our products and technologies in St. Petersburg as concurrent exhibitions with the “St. Petersburg Technical Fair”, “Automechanika-St. Petersburg” and "XI St. Petersburg Partneriat ". It has opened the avenues for holding business meetings between Russian industrialists, buyers, various Chambers of Commerce/Associations/Federations, business delegates and Government of Russia.
